‘Ike Through Mosaics
Mo’olelo/story of the piece : The 2 honu/turtles🐢🐢, big one & baby one are swimming up from the deep ocean following the bubbles, through the shallower waters with the rocks, sand & blue/green ocean 🌊( colours not so clear in the pic).
In the night sky on the left is Makali’i / The Pleiades🌌 & on the right is Hokulea, Star of Gladness/ Arcturus 🌟. In the centre are angel wings & a heart shaped pohaku.
Note to self- The opaque glass shows the colour of the wood behind so that bit which I intended to be white, I now view as being gold 😉 I ka pono mea : all is in perfection
